The 6-storey Paula Fox Melanoma & Cancer Centre will offer specialised care for all stages of melanoma; integrating clinical care with cutting-edge research. The Arctic Constructions team was incredibly proud to be a part of this amazing project!! The project had to meet stringent design requirements. The walls, ceilings, doors, and windows had to be PC2 compliant and withstand significant pressure; Working closely with Kane Constructions to develop solutions that meet the project's unique demands.
The $120 million Distribution Centre accommodates 5 separate temperature controlled chambers from which all chilled and frozen goods for Coles Victorian supermarkets are distributed. The built area is approximately 44,000m2 and is set over a total site of approximately 25 hectares. The building won the Master Builders Association Excellence in Construction Award for Industrial Buildings over $5m
